Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that Byron Writers Festival takes place on the traditional lands of the Arakwal Bumberbin Peoples of the Bundjalung Nation. We pay respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge them as the original storytellers of the lands and waterways of this Country.

Rachel Ang

Rachel Ang is an artist and writer who makes comics. Their work has previously been published in international journals such as The New Yorker and kuš!, and Australian periodicals like The Age and Meanjin.

Their first book, Swimsuit, was published by Glom Press in 2018. Their new book, a graphic short story collection titled I Ate The Whole World to Find You, is published by Drawn and Quarterly (global)/Scribe (Australia/New Zealand) and available now.

Rachel has a Masters degree in Architecture (RMIT) and lives on Wurundjeri country with her family.
