Kids Program
08—10 Aug

Inspire the writers of the future at Byron Writers Festival's beloved Kids Program.

Hosted by comedian Peter Helliar, kids and grandkids will be entertained by writers including Tony Armstong in his exclusive Byron Writers Festival appearance, delighted by storytime with Anita Heiss and dance along with The Gumboots. Look out for the Spaghetti Circus stiltwalkers!

If you are a kid who loves books, then Byron Writers Festival’s Kids Program is the ultimate event for you.

On Sunday 10 August the Lilly Pilly marquee transforms into an immersive storytelling arena where authors and illustrators take to the stage to entertain, inspire and delight.

As well as the action onstage, kids can explore the StoryBoard space at the Coolamon tent, where our famous StoryBoard bus and tipi village comes alive with free drop-in workshops for aspiring young writers and illustrators.
