Nicholas Timms

Nicholas Timms is a mystery writer and lifelong surfer. Raised in Byron, he spent his teenage years competing in boardriders comps and honing his writing at Byron Bay High School. Now, he lives in Sydney and works as a senior copywriter at a major ad agency. As a lifelong surfer, he knows the world of surfing intimately − not just the way the water moves, but the undercurrents in the carparks, the codes between locals, the fractures beneath the surface.

‍The Lineup is Nicholas’s debut crime novel, and is currently in development for TV at Universal Studio Group. This is his first appearance at a writers festival.
