Leila McKinnon is an Australian journalist, television presenter and MC based in the Northern Rivers. Leila studied at Queensland University of Technology and began her career in 1993, working her way through regional television before joining the Nine Network in 1995. Over three decades with Nine, Leila has become one of Australia's most recognised faces on television. She has been a reporter and presenter for A Current Affair and Nine News, and Today.
She has hosted four Olympic Games broadcasts for Nine, including the 2012 London Olympics where she conducted the first live television interview with Princes William and Harry. A versatile broadcaster, Leila has worked as an MC and event host across a wide range of occasions and was a book reviewer for the Australian Women's Weekly for ten years.
