Angela Mackay

Angela Mackay is global leader of the FT's Commercial Client Group, overseeing global advertising sales, thought leadership through FT Studio and Longitude research, FT Live, and the FT’s education businesses. Based in Hong Kong, she also serves as managing director of Asia Pacific, leading the FT’s strategy and growth in the region.

Mackay joined the FT in 2003 and worked as the HK correspondent and Asia finance editor for three years, before moving over to the commercial side of the business. Before joining the FT, she was Asia editor for Sunday Business from 1998 to 2001. Her previous roles include editor at The Economist, supervising producer at CNBC, deputy news editor at The Times in London, and UK correspondent for the Australian Financial Review.

Mackay is a non-executive board member for the Centre for Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT), Sovereign Art Foundation and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
