We respectfully acknowledge that Byron Writers Festival takes place on the traditional lands of the Arakwal Bumberbin Peoples of the Bundjalung Nation. We pay respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge them as the original storytellers of the lands and waterways of this Country.
Amy Colli is a passionate advocate for regional development and the raising of women's voices through localised community engagement. This enthusiasm is reflected in her role as Coordinator of the Women’s Giving Circle for the Northern Rivers Community Foundation - a collective giving model that supports grassroots organisations as they deliver projects for women and girls across our region.
Amy is dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for like-minded women to connect with purpose and build a sense of belonging within the Northern Rivers. Amy has previously managed and expanded networks for women in business across the Northern Rivers and continues to support female-based initiatives at every opportunity.
A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and Southern Cross University with a Master of Gastronomic Tourism, Amy strongly believes in the value of locally grown and produced food as a basis for a thriving and connected community.
