Heresies: Richard Flanagan

Join the only author ever to have won both the Booker Prize and the Baillie Gifford Prize, Richard Flanagan, in conversation with ABC Radio National's Sarah Kanowski, to discuss his latest collection and the role of the writer to embrace heresy.

From the destruction of our natural world to the growing corrosion of democracy, from Salman Rushdie to the Segal Report, family and love, Flanagan’s non-fiction writings carry the author’s trademark elegance, subversive wit, and humanity.

*Please note: The last shuttle from the Byron Bay Interchange bus terminal to the Cavanbah Centre car park will depart at 10pm.

Presented by ABC Conversations.
